Members of customer user groups, such as Americas' SAP Users' Group (ASUG) and German-Speaking SAP User Group (DSAG), provide insight into market demand -- which, in turn, drives product innovation.
Americas' SAP Users' Group (ASUG)
Since its inception in 1990, Americas' SAP Users' Group (ASUG) has become the leading customer-run SAP resource in the world. The year-round ASUG community provides more than 1,200 corporate and 45,000 individual members with a collection of unmatched benefits.
ASUG's goals are straightforward and effective. The group works to continuously educate members, facilitate networking among colleagues and SAP professionals, and influence future SAP product and service direction. German-Speaking SAP User Group (DSAG)
The German-speaking SAP user group in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland see themselves as an independent group of representatives who protect the interests of all users in these three countries. DSAG's goal is to produce equitable and necessary solutions for SAP.
DSAG, founded in 1997 as a registered organization, currently has more than 2,000 member businesses, the largest SAP users group worldwide.
Dutch-Speaking User Group (VNSG)
The Dutch-Speaking User Group (VNSG) is an active organization with nearly 600 members. The VNSG was founded in 1988 by SAP users who felt a need to join forces and exchange their experiences with SAP implementations and voice their mutual concerns to SAP. Over the years, the VNSG developed from this initiative into a platform for all SAP users.
The first objective of the VNSG is to support customers in increasing the value of SAP products within their companies. The second objective is to create forums for exchanging knowledge between SAP, SAP users, and SAP partners, and promoting the interest of its members.
SAP Australian User Group (SAUG)
SAP Australian User Group (SAUG) is open to SAP licensed customers, consultants, partners, and individuals under various member categories. The SAUG membership base includes Australia's largest private companies and significant public sector organizations.
Key objectives include providing a mutual exchange of ideas and experience in various formats and venues among users of SAP software and services and improving strategies for training, updates, consultant skills, quality, and other issues that concern users.
SAP UK & Ireland User Group
Membership in the SAP UK & Ireland User Group is open to licensed users of SAP. Members include organizations of various sizes, including some of the largest companies and foremost public sector organizations in the UK and Ireland.
The user group provides meetings and discussion forums in a neutral environment. The primary goals of this independent group are to facilitate networking and knowledge exchange among members, provide an independent voice for SAP users in the UK and Ireland, and maintain and develop a close and influential relationship with SAP.
SAP Configuration Workgroup
The SAP Configuration Workgroup (CWG) is an international user group of SAP customers and partners focused on promoting knowledge exchange of product configuration that has been implemented in various SAP solutions.
The only industry group of its kind consisting of more than 600 member companies, CWG is a valuable forum for discussions, presentations, and most importantly, experts and users sharing knowledge.
